Brent Celek had some fun recently at the expense of some Wawa customers who just wanted to get a cup of coffee.
It looks like Philadelphia Eagles tight end Brent Celek is taking a page out of the handbook of Jon Dorenbos.
As you all know, Dorenbos is currently impressing the hell out of everyone on America’s Got Talent, wowing the judges and the country with some of the best magic I have ever seen. During the initial audition when he was asked why he was trying out, his answer was that NFL stood for “Not for long.”
Now Celek appears to be following Dorenbos’ example as a video has surfaced of Celek trying his hand at being a coffee barista for Wawa. A really, really annoying coffee barista.
Can you imagine having to deal with someone that chipper early in the morning when all you want in a freakin’ cup of coffee?
Well, that won’t be something you will have to worry about. It turns out the whole thing was a prank Celek pulled with the help of Wawa and Whistle Sports.
But the really incredible part? Almost no one recognized Celek for who he actually is. And considering that Brent Celek is a mountain of a man who fans see every Sunday during football season, that is hard to believe.
More Eagles: The Eagles Need To Walk Away From Lane Johnson
In fact, only a single customer realized that the annoying coffee barista was actually Eagles tight end Brent Celek. But we’ll give them a break since it was early in the morning and they hadn’t had their morning cup of coffee yet.
Celek will hang up his Wawa apron as he and the Birds get ready to open the NFL preseason this week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
