Philadelphia Union 2016 Schedule Released

Philadelphia Union

The Philadelphia union have released their 2016 MLS schedule.

This week the Philadelphia Union released their full regular season schedule. The Union will look to try and start their season off right when they take on FC Dallas away from home on March 6. Their home opener won’t be until March 20 when New England comes to Talen Energy Stadium. If you’re looking for Union tickets or just want to check the schedule, check out the Philadelphia Union website here:

The Union made some roster moves ahead of this season. Most recently, the Union have released Cristian Maidana and the local winger, Andrew Wenger. Perhaps it’s hopeful thinking but after passing on their first-round (3rd overall) and second-round picks in the first of the MLS Drafts, the Union may be saving up for another big transfer. It’s been reported that the Union were in pursuit of American export Alejandro Bedoya last summer before the Tranquillo Barnetta transfer. With less than three months until opening weekend and still plenty of spots on the roster, there may still be a chance to see some new faces appear in the Union line-up.
