Since its inception, Puck Talks has been providing die-hard hockey fans with an interactive speaker series few can rival. Wherever they go, whether that be New York, Canada or anywhere in between, you can always look forward to a night of fun, information and being around people who love the game as much as you do. The same goes for their sister series, Pitch Talks, which cover the game of baseball like few can.
So when it came time to decide which series to bring to Philadelphia for our rabid, knowledgeable and some would say obsessed sports fans, they said “Why not bring both?”
For the first time ever, hockey and baseball will collide in the first ever Puck + Pitch Talks, taking place November 18 at the Bourbon & Branch in Philadelphia.
Starting at 7:00 PM and wrapping up around 9:30 PM, a who’s who of local hockey and baseball experts will discuss, tell stories and debate the finer points of the Phillies, Flyers and all points in between.
On the hockey side, speakers include Al Morganti of Comcast SportsNet, Bill Meltzer of HockeyBuzz.com, Dave Isaac of the Courier-Post, Adam Kimelman of NHL.com and Sarah Baicker of Breakfast on Broad. That will be combined with some great baseball discussion by Todd Zolecki of MLB.com and Jim Salisbury of CSN Philly.com.
Tickets are just $20 and all the information you need can be found on the event’s Facebook page. So get your tickets now and get ready to have an evening like no other. Baseball, hockey, beer and great conversation. What more could a Philly sports fan ask for?
