Temple Football continues to grow and garner national recognition as a program on the move.

The American Athletic Conference announced a number of times and networks for nationally televised intraconference and non-conference games this week and low and behold, the Temple Owls are penciled in for two of them.

On October 22 you will be able to watch as Temple travels to East Carolina for a Thursday matchup that kicks off at 7:00 PM. Then you can watch as Temple faces SMU on November 6 with an 8:00 PM start time. Both games will be shown on nationally on ESPN2 (not to be confused with ESPN8 “The Ocho”).

Head coach Matt Rhule continues to build a program that is being taken more and more seriously by the media and other schools. Two nationally televised games is a definite step in the right direction.

The Temple Owls open their season Saturday, September 5 against Penn State at home at Lincoln Financial Field.
