And the Eagles have a schedule.
On Tuesday night the Philadelphia Eagles released their schedule for the 2015 NFL season. It includes a number of games that should provide topics for a lot of conversation for Eagles faithful and make for some fun weekends of football.
So without further ado, here is your 2015 Eagles schedule:
The Eagles will open the season September 14 on Monday Night Football on the road against the Atlanta Falcons and then have their home opener at Lincoln Financial Field the following week when the hated Dallas Cowboys come to town.
Other notable games include a date with the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving Day, which makes two years in a row the Eagles have played on Thanksgiving. They have their bye week during Week 8, head to Gillette Stadium for a matchup with the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots in Week 13 before facing LeSean McCoy and the Buffalo Bills at home December 13.
The Eagles wrap up the season on January 3 on the road against the New York Giants for the second straight year.
Obviously, the 2015 season should prove very interesting with all the massive changes Chip Kelly has made to the roster this offseason. If things goes south for this redesigned Eagles team, it will happen quick and we should all know if the playoffs are going to be an option or not pretty early into the season. And if that happens, who the Eagles play is going to be the least of Kelly’s worries.
It all begins September 14 in Atlanta on Monday Night. Get ready.
